Everstone Group supports the task force on climate-related financial disclosures

Singapore, August 13, 2021 – The Everstone Group (Everstone) announced its support to the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) and joined more than 1,800 organizations worldwide to demonstrate a commitment to building a more resilient financial system and safeguarding against climate risk.

The TCFD, chaired by Michael R. Bloomberg, founder of Bloomberg LP and Bloomberg Philanthropies, provides market participants with recommendations to address the financial impact of climate change on their business. By increasing transparency on financially material climate-related risks and opportunities, the recommendations promote more informed financial decision-making by investors, lenders, and others.

Alok Oberoi, Executive Chairman, The Everstone Group, stated, “The Everstone Group is delighted to support TCFD and hopeful that its guidelines will help us assess climate-related risks and opportunities while investing in portfolio companies.”
